Our day is marked by means of what comes out of the pastry phase, and there's constantly something desirable on the manner: sticky buns complete of cherries and pistachios in the morning; a loaf of wealthy dough rolled with chocolate, hazelnuts and cinnamon that has been proving for the reason that sunrise and is derived out of the oven clean for elevenses. Lunch is a crisp, crumbly shell of pastry filled with spiced lamb or burnt aubergine, and at teatime there are cheesecakes and fruit desserts, small desserts and large cookies - so many cakes that it's difficult to pick out one. (there's no want to worry, anything you pick will be fantastic!) After dinner there might be poached peaches with roses or some thing greater traditional, candy and salty Knafe drenched in orange blossom syrup, or perhaps only a small piece of sparkling marzipan. there's some thing sweet, some thing in the oven for all people, all day lengthy - welcome to Honey & Co.

About the Author
Itamar Srulovich and Sarit Packer are a husband-and-wife team who together run Honey & Co in London's Fitzrovia. They first met twelve years ago in a restaurant kitchen in Israel and arrived in London dreaming of high gastronomy and Michelin stars. Their tiny restaurant has ten tables and brings the magic of homely Middle Eastern soul food to a hungry crowd. They have since opened Honey & Spice and Honey & Co
This book is really nicely made and of quality. Lots of unusual and fun recipes and a sense of the writers' personalities and personal touch in there. Lovely pictures too. The 'Honey & Co recipes from the middle East' goes with this really nicely as a pair.-ffaiganHQ
I was delighted to find Honey & Co had a new book out. I've now tried two of the baking recipes which were clear and easy to follow and delicious. I've never had a recipe that doesn't work well from the Honey and Co team, and I'm pretty sure the soured cream, pecan and cinnamon loaf cakes are going to become a household regular bake. The book itself if beautifully produced, with photographs that are helpful for guidance for the recipes, but also to provide more insights into the restaurant (and the people) behind the book. With a mixture of sweet and savoury recipes not only for baking, but things like jam and preserves too, there's lots to choose from. Overall, it's a delight.-Jenny Wren
Another fabulous book. I've pretty much cooked everything from their Food from the Middle East book and suspect this one will be the same. Two recipes cooked within 2 days of receiving. Easy to follow, reliable recipes that are a bit different from the norm. As I have an allergy to quite a lot of nuts, I suspect that I'll have to adapt a few recipes so that I can eat them, but that shouldn't be too hard. Great mix of sweet & savoury recipes.-jod69
