Something for everyone in this book. Salads, drinks, desserts…some of it I wouldn't expect to see apples in. A big collection of recipes, most of them looked very simple to make, not too "fancy" for the average person. Many of the recipes suggested one or more varieties of apples and several of them you'll be able to get locally. My biggest "problem" with this book is that some of the recipes call for "medium" or "large" apples, and doesn't give a very clear idea of just what that is by weight or size. Not everything is photographed (.the main items probably are) and the celebrity chef's recipes aren't any fancier or more complicated than the rest of them. I want to try some of these recipes out, may loan the book to other people too.-T. Staples
