About the Author
Lorraine Pascale first found fame as a super-model, but after deciding food was her first love.She was trained as a chef, worked in many restaurants and bakeries and now owns and runs The Cupcake Bakehouse in Covent Garden, the favoured bakery for the rich and famous. Her client list includes Madonna and Marco Pierre White and her celebration cakes are now available in Selfridges.

I so much enjoyed Lorraine Pascale's television programme it prompted me to buy this book. I think her style of cooking is relaxed and that comes out in her recipes and the book. Obviously some recipes you make more than others but the instructions are easy to follow and would be good for the less experienced cook. The colour pictures are a treat and show you what your finished dish should look like so you know what you are aiming for.-Grand Mother of two boys
