About the Author
Tina Chow is the founder of the popular Instagram page @FitChicksCook, where she features her weekly meal preps along with tips on healthy eating and quick and easy homemade recipes. After struggling to achieve her fitness goals while working full-time, she began meal prepping on the weekends to save time and stay healthy. Now almost four years later, her fan base has grown to more than one hundred thousand followers. She continues to prep her weekly meals and share her meal plans with the goal of helping others like her achieve their goals. One of her Mason Jar meals was features in the Spring 2017 edition of Hers Muscle & Fitness. She is the author of The Everything Meal Prep Cookbook.
I’ve followed Tina on Instagram for quite some time so I was very excited to get this book. I LOVE IT! All of the recipes I’ve tried are delicious and easy to make. The book is well organized and the recipes are easy to follow. Every time I warm up my food in the break room my colleagues always compliment me and tell me how good my food smells (true story). Okay, so I love this book. I’ve been following Tina on Instagram for a good bit of last year and knew that I liked how simple and healthy her recipes were. When she came out with this book I knew it would be great to have on hand because I struggle with keeping my meals easy and healthy without some inspo. You’ll already have a lot of the items in your pantry already, and she’ll also get you to buy some fresh ingredients you wouldn’t usually buy (but super tasty). This cookbook is the shiz. Everything is so organized and easy to understand. Each recipe she includes the macros and how long you can keep things in the fridge. This has made meal prepping so much easier. It actually gets me excited to cook! -Jade
