Love this book. It took me a while to make enough recipes to write a review. Everything I've made has been great and received great reviews. I thought the cakes and other things might be boring or not very tasty because the recipes are easy and not fussy with ingredients. WRONG! They are delicious and people rave about them. I'm going to continue baking my way through this awesome book. Buy it, you will be so happy! -Kathy
Every recipe I've tried so far is great. I've made the crumb cake, the chocolate walnut cookies, and the clafoutis. All were delicious and turned out very well. It's also nice that the recipes don't make huge quantities--12 cupcakes or two dozen cookies is plenty (although I did double the chocolate-walnut cookie recipe and it still turned out great). Highly recommend! -Mr. Smith
Lots of recipes that I want to try. Recipes are good places to start but also gets you thinking about substitutions if a particular ingredient is not available Lets you also be as creative. Anything that taste good and uses one bowl is great. Less dishes to wash and it you clean up as you go, not much left except the serving dishes. -Avid Cook
